Please read and acknowledge the following statements and conditions: I will receive the online course link and full directions for completing the requirements within 36 hours. There are no refunds or transfers. I understand this class does not make me a certified driving instructor. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles determines if I meet all criteria to become a certified driving instructor. I understand I must complete additional steps to become a driving instructor. I understand I must complete additional steps to open a driving school. Any certificate obtained for a DPAS, 8-hour refresher, or 32-hour certification course WILL ONLY BE SENT TO THE OWNER of the already existing driving school, regardless of who paid for the class. This is because the owner of the already existing driving school will need to file the appropriate paperwork with the state for the person who completed any DPAS, 8-hour refresher, or 32-hour certification course to become, remain, or be reactivated as a certified driving instructor legally for the state of Florida. The ownership of this certificate then becomes an issue to be resolved solely by the person who takes the class and the owner of the existing driving school, and not a decision by Modern Approaches To Traffic Safety or its owners. Otherwise, if you are starting a driving school, then you will be considered the owner.

Terms and Conditions

Please read and acknowledge the following statements and conditions: I must present a valid driver's license with a photo. I must attend all class minutes. Leaving early or arriving late will result in me having to pay to retake the class. Do not be late for the class, or you will not be let in. I will be given a written exam at the end of the class. I must score at least 80% to receive your certificate. If I fail the exam, I must pay to retake the entire class. Don't stress over this; the class will prepare you for the exam. I must complete 15 minutes of student teaching on the last day of class. Before arriving, I must print and complete the required homework packet. If I have driving instructor certification from another state, I have called The Division of Driver Licenses in Tallahassee at 850-617-2505 and verified my certification requirements before registering for this class. I understand this class does not make me a certified driving instructor. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles determines if I meet all criteria to become a certified driving instructor after sending the class certificate all other requirements to the state. Once a class is purchased, I can only receive a partial refund. I may transfer to another class for 25% of purchase + Paypal fees or cancel for 50% of purchase + Paypal fees up to 14 days before the start of the class. After 14 days, no transfers or cancellations are allowed, and no refund will be given. Any certificate obtained for a DPAS, 8-hour refresher, or 32-hour certification course WILL ONLY BE SENT TO THE OWNER of the already existing driving school, regardless of who paid for the class.
