Modern Approaches to Traffic Safety offers State approved courses to
become and maintain State certification as a driving instructor.

32 Hour Course (Teach the Teacher):
This course is for first time applicants and previously certified instructors that
have allowed there certification to lapse. If you have been certified in another
state you may not have to take this course. The Division of Driver Licenses in
Tallahassee will make the determination if you have to take this course, the 8
hour course, or if they will accept your out of state certification. Contact

8 Hour Refresher Course:
All instructors must take this course at least once every 5 years. It is designed
to update the instructor as to changes in the laws and any developments in the
commercial driving school industry.

Our group of devoted professionals has spent many highly successful years
teaching safe and effective methods of drivers training to tens of thousands of
new drivers of all backgrounds and ages. They have all been in-car
instructors, classroom instructors and school owners. We've been there,
done that.
